Review: Age 20s Essence Cover Pact Foundation

Review: Age 20s Essence Cover Pact Foundation

It’s been officially fall for awhile, but the weather is finally starting to turn to that cooler, crisper temp that just signals “FALL IS HERE”. You know what that means? Time to cold-proof my skincare and makeup routines!

I was reading SokoGlam’s The KLOG and came across this post about how a Korean Air flight attendant keeps her skin looking fresh and dewy despite how dry those high altitudes can get. She mentioned this Age 20s Essence Cover Pact, so… of course I had to try it!

I’ve been saving it for cooler temps for a few reasons:

  • I was a little tanner than usual this summer so the C23 shade wasn’t going to look right on me at all until my color faded a bit (I was wearing the Sulwhasoo Evenfair Perfecting Cushion in N25 all summer, deeper shades available on Nordstrom.com).
  • It’s really, really moisturizing and the cream consistency is a little heavy for humid weather. Like, I got impatient a month or so ago and decided to try it, but I think my face was falling off by the end of the day. Okay fine, that’s an exaggeration but foundation shifting around your face isn’t a good look.

And that’s also the key here — it’s really more of a foundation which I’m not as used to wearing. Cushions are so comfortable for me since they’re easier to apply and almost weightless, whereas I think I can actually feel this one on my skin.

I’m excited to try it again though, especially with cooler weather here. The key will be to finding which serum fits well underneath it, so as I experiment around with that I’ll post updates.

What products are you excited to try out this fall/winter? Leave a comment if there’s anything I should check out!
